Who We Are
Ukrainian people started arriving in North Ayrshire in May 2022.
Our community began its activity in the summer of the same year.
We established a non-profit organisation and held our first meeting in December 2022.
Today, our community includes over 200 members, primarily women and children.
Many of our men had to remain in Ukraine to defend the country, as the borders remain closed to them.
We are proud to have the support of North Ayrshire Council, which has been vital throughout the process of forming and growing our community.

Our Aims

Cultural Integration
Supporting Adaptation
Mental Health and Well-being

To promote integration as a two-way process through cultural exchange — creating opportunities for Ukrainians and the wider Scottish community to learn from one another through shared events and activities.
To help New Scots adjust to life in Scotland by providing guidance, information, and community support.
To provide emotional and psychological support, helping individuals care for their mental health and well-being.
